Baredine Cave located nearby Poreč will make for a pleasant refreshing stop during a hot summer day. You'll need the right shoes to venture into the deep of Istria's underworld and discover stalactites and stalagmites. The sightseeing lasts 40 minutes and during that time, you'll descend down the 300 m long pathway. You will pass by a 4 m wide and 66 m deep crater leading to the underground lakes and by 5 halls and 5 galleries of abstract and realistic sculptures. The adventure will be even greater when you meet the underground's only resident – the endemic olm.
After returning from the underworld, we will take you back to reality, to hear about the history of Istrian agricultural life where you will visit a permanent exhibition of historic tractors with the oldest tractor dating back to 1923. Then you can relax in the Konobon Gallery where you will learn about the Mediterranean trilogy – bread, wine and olive oil and where you will taste Istrian wines.
