An adventure on the Krka river
The Krka is a river adorned with seven magnificent waterfalls, which are not only a visual experience, but also an energising one. Sometimes quiet like a lake, sometimes wild and turbulent like a torrent, Krka bears an amazing resemblance to the spirit of Dalmatia.
It runs through the Krka National Park, which covers an area of 109 km² and is blessed with impressive sites, the most famous of which include the Skradinski buk, the Roški waterfall and the Visovac lake and islet. You can spend a whole day on the river Krka, walking along wooden paths, enjoying the colours of nature and rare water birds, swimming in the designated areas, meditating in one of the hidden corners…
